Jim Lutomski

 Jim Lutomski of Royal Oak, Michigan, works in a wide variety of materials which revolve around his attraction to clay. Using his abilities to blend ceramics with discarded materials like brooms, broken glass, picket fences, and bamboo blinds, Jim addresses the idea of houses as "New American Icons". Jim has been an Associate Professor at Marygrove College in Detroit, MI since 1974. He has exhibited in one-man shows at the Detroit Institute of Art, the Ella Sharp Museum, The Willis Gallery, Focus Gallery, The University of Toledo, 20 North Gallery, and Paint Creek Center for the Arts.
