Sergio DeGiusti’s exhibition at Flatlanders Art Galleries will consist of various reliefs taken from his work, in collaboration with David Barr, on the Michigan Labor Legacy Project in Detroit, Michigan. The monument, entitled "Transcending:, honors the role of working men and women and the enduring spirit of organized labor. The monument consists of 16 bronze panels installed on 5 to 7 marble columns as well as a six-story steel arch.

Sergio has produced numerous reliefs for public commissions and continues to add to his impressive resume. Some of his works include the bronze paneled doors of the church of San Vito in Maniago, Italy; medallions for the Department of the Treasury in Washington, DC; and a bronze Christ figure for the processional cross used at the Silverdome during the Pope’s visit to Detroit, Michigan.
