Dan Foote Dan Foote's exhibit, overShawdowed Boxes , presents constructions made of wooden boxes and found or created objects. Two themes repeatedly appear: the preservation of natural materials and the alternative use of these materials as if to defy death and decomposition. Dan is also known regionally for his photography and is a lifelong resident of Ohio. |

The paintings by deceased artist Michael Joseph are vibrant and dynamic and, as always, serve to define post-modernism. "Michael is the last guy you could sell a paint brush to," says gallery director Ken Thompson, "he was widely known for painting portraits and figures with spray cans." Michael received his MFA from Cranbrook in 1972 and lived in the Detroit area for many years. Then, in 1989, he moved home to eastern Washington where he lived until his death in 2003. |
